This part of the trip was pretty interesting. Jamestown was founded in 1607 and was the first permanent English settlement in America. It's mostly ruins now, but it was still a cool feeling being there.
Just around the river bend is where you'll find Pocahontas...

This was something impotant, but I can't remember what it was, lol.
The actual Jamestown site is operated by the National Park Service. There is a recreated version just down the road. It has some English and Indian buildings and some ships, but over all it just seemed fake to me. The actual site is what interested me.
